MHR-My Health Record

When you visit your doctor, it's common for them to inquire about past medical reports, previous blood tests, scans, or your current medication. Sometimes it becomes essential to show them an old skin lesion or a particular swollen area, especially if you've consulted multiple doctors. Sharing this information enables medical professionals to collaborate effectively in your best interest.

Holding this information readily accessible for both you and your doctor at all times can be crucial for accurate assessments and potentially life-saving interventions. It can prevent unnecessary repetition of tests that have already been conducted.

To address this issue, My Health Record application and website were developed. This mobile application and website aim to assist individuals in storing all their health-related information and medical history in one centralized location. You can capture images of your reports and categorize them into folders for easy access by either yourself or your healthcare providers if necessary. The platform includes a section for personal information where you can elaborate on your medical background in your own words.

The process is straightforward:

1. Download the app.
2. Select an 8-digit My Health Record Number; no email is required.
3. Upload anything related to your medical background and store it in the appropriate folders (reports, test results, prescriptions, etc.).
4. Access your records on your mobile device or any computer, whether locally or abroad. You can also print any required records.
5. Share your number with your doctor so they can access your records from their mobile device or the website at any time.
